Each year our Student Ministry adopts families in our area to bless during the Christmas season. Below is the story for our adopted family for the 2006 Christmas season.
Lisa is a single mom teaching in a local school district. A few months ago, she, her 18-month old son, and her mother lost everything due to black mold in their apartment building. Although they are in a new apartment, they weren't allowed to salvage anything--they had to leave it all behind and start over.
Thanks to all of you who so generously helped provide an awesome Christmas for Lisa Marie, Hunter, and Blanche! May God continue to work among us to reach, win, equip, and send us into our city to build the Kingdom!
