LIFE SOURCE

Jesus is the only source of ALL life.

1. Jesus Is The Only Source of All PHYSICAL Life

(John 1:3) “Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.”

(Genesis 2:7) “And the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being.”

2. Jesus Is The Only Source of All SPIRITUAL Life

(John 3:6-7) “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at My saying, ‘You must be born again.’”

A. The first birth leads to physical life.

B. The second birth leads to spiritual life.

C. Most people are physically alive but spiritually dead.

3. Jesus Is The Only Source of All ABUNDANT Life

(John 10:10b) “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

(Romans 12:1-2) “I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

4. Jesus Is The Only Source of All ETERNAL Life

(John 6:47) “I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.”
