Hi!  I’m glad you’re taking a minute to check us out.

If you’re new to the area, let me just say I really think you’re going to like Central Texas.   By almost every independent appraisal, the Austin area is one of the best places in the nation to live.  It certainly gets my vote!     

And if you’re looking for a great place to worship and serve the Lord, take a few more minutes to investigate the opportunities here at First Baptist.  We are a growing, Jesus-loving, Spirit-filled, Bible-guided Southern Baptist Church.  

We were only founded thirty-five years ago.  That makes us about the same age as most of our members.  We are primarily made up of young to middle-age families who work in Austin and moved to Pflugerville because of our excellent schools and friendly, laid-back life-style. 

Our personality is reflected in our motto: “Loving God, Loving You.”   We truly enjoy expressing our love for God through spirited worship and genuine service.  And if you love the Lord, or if you’re seeking a personal relationship with Jesus, or if you’re just a fellow-resident of this growing community, then all our ministries are aimed at loving you.
