After receiving time off for good behavior, Tom Cottar came to our staff from the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, as their Student Evangelism guy and general troublemaker. A fellow ragamuffin and Starbucks junkie, Tom is constantly amazed by God's grace. His amazing wife, Heather, and 2 boys, Darien and Dylan, keep him humble and always con him into taking out the trash. Some of his favorite things are this, this, this, and this. (Oh, yeah. Don't forget THIS one.) Often you can hear him mumble, "Ocean over fishbowl. Telescope over keyhole. Boycott decaf. My God can beat up your god. " Right on. You can visit his blog and get inside his head (it's a short trip.)
What really makes things run is our group of VOLUNTEERS! They are an incredible group of adults who are committed to investing in YOUR life. We work together to reach families, not just students. None of us are perfect, but we are all learning to do life together: to chase after Christ and to love each other as He loves us.
